1st b'dae bash... ...Busy, Tiring dae....

Yesterday mum call me & inform me that bb seems like going to fall ill. Hv some sneezing & coughing and keep rub nose and mouth. Luckily I quickly ask her to bring bb to see doc…after taking medication, she is recovering. Doc says BB is starting to fall sick but luckily everything is under control.

Last nite went visit bb, she look happy & cheerful. She was so happy to see me.

Played abt an hr hub came fetch me. Went West mall for eyebrow trim...bought few items for goodies bags...still complain abt nobody coming. Today suddenly gt almost 10ppl cfm attendance.

My main food catering for 50pax nw gt 58pax... ...if ppl come in late...their problem alredi lor... ...haha!

Yesterday, gt colleague on leave & gt outsider came look for her, so i quickly call to check what can i help as that guy came with bunch of correction pens to exchange for things...then she asked if i gt keys...of course i dun, so i ask back if anyone else in office has it. She reply DUNNO. *faintz*

This prove that they are so WORRY i will snatch their RICE BOWL.

I am juz earning salary nt out to snatch ppl job...

Finally we are counting dw to our precious 1st b'dae celebration. *wink*

sms some same age relatives, dun even bother to reply...this is most angry part. They are SAHM...looking after BB is tiring bt i think would be able to hv a few mins to reply YES or NO bah... ...BB do sleeps... ...Anyway, i had decided, today will be my last invitation. No more asking. Nw i need to focus on the decor...no more worrying abt guests coming or not. Even those mumi whom i juz know frm net thru buying items frm net, reply me instantly whenever i ask them for advice, one mumi reply instantly when i invite her to bb b'dae..

Had decided on wat to wear & hw to doll up myself...think wont be having make up...bt maybe some lipstick bah...see hw it goes. :) Packed up almost all neccessary items, left the clothings & some medication.

Today rcvd sms frm a fren, cfm coming with son...so happy. :) Nw thinking wat to prepare for those kid's goodies bag. :) Bought some ribena juz nw...

maybe i can buy some candies/lolipops & a small pack of children drinks...sound wonderful.:) (WILL MAKE SURE ALL made in Spore/Aust & NT CHINA)

i dun understand y mgr can be so fickle minded.

1 min he is blaming me for doing the claim alone. nw i am guiding her, doing altogether so she can help him... yet he ask her go do other scope & ask her to pass back to me and i was in the midst of doing other things. I find office is in the mess bcos of all fickle minded mgmt.

Frm day 1 he told me ok juz do according to the submission date. i follow & try my best to do it on time bt in the end still wrong & nobody wanna update me, he will juz say

'...ermmm...this client call abt claim...bt nvm i settle...' so i asked wat is it regarding? bt he always say is ok... ..'

I feel he is wieird, whenever we hv a new colleague he will always get very closed & get everything to them & treat us the older staff like we are afraid to teach...

Was down with flu since Monday night. I hate the Post flu feeling so YUCKS…my taste bud affected, everything no taste, drink water also cannot enjoy as throat kind of discomfort!!! Like wanting to cough bt cant cough out bt cant then took lozenges…. Dun seem to help bt for the sake of protecting my throat I still took it…At nite, I took dinner forcefully& took flu medication bt cant sleep, then suddenly cough so hard…and feel feverish…quickly go take cough mixture & cold tablet and I sleep thru the nite…

Nw getting better… …blocked nose…

Taking more herbal drinks…hope I will get better before wkn.:)

This wkn, hub again hv to wrk shift... Kind of good also, so I can join my parent to city & shop ard for BB Shoe for 1^st b’dae. & he can no need to talk to Missy so often. Getting on my nerve…Actually shldnt be anything wrong bt I feel so unsecure. Nw he is exercising very often & kind of can see muscle & always juz nice Missy back & keep see…I dun feel gd..she seems to be so enjoying to tok to hub…I am thinking if is hub problem, anyhow I told him hw I feel… bt he say I get jealous too easily. Bt any wife see hub tok to girls so near sure will nt happy bah? Morever that Missy seem so happy… FAINTZZZ…

Recently, something happen at work. My work progress, had problem again. Mgr wan the most accurate work progress percentage. The most reliable way is to pass it to the respective jobsite supervisor. After I gt the progress, b4 sending out, I will let him go thru, and he will keep ask me hw cum this much? My answer, I gt all info frm supervisors. I really dun know wat they expect frm me. I find working isn’t only a once a mth affair, it require everyday effort, the formula they use isn’t as easy, hw they calculate.

Monday...

Monday took MC, had really bad headache when getting ready 4 work, but I didn’t think much, then hub offer to send me to work, so happy, while on the way I complain abt my headache again. When reachin office area, hub wan me to help him get breakfast, so I thought since I am getting food frm the same stall so I order together, then quickly got buy tea…both stalls having long quene…FAINTzzz…when finally get all the food, hub scolded me for being so late all bccos I get my food as well…L anyway, I juz ask him to go off quickly as it is his 1^st day of wrk. While walking back to office, I feel dizzy n headache, no choice still got to walk, when reach office, I put down everything on table…who knows, I saw water flowing dw…OMG MY TEA!!! Haizzz…I quickly get towel to wipe. Haizzz,…y all things juz went so bad when I am nt feeling well??? Then to my surprise water supply is BACK…so lucky.

After wiping the mess, I sweat abit & feel nt so dizzy bt still having bad headache/heavy head(I cant think of another word to describe), then had a painkiller bt no use leh after 30mins. Finally BTH, quickly ask for medical chit to go see doc, as I feel like blackout when I try to stand, SMS boss then off I go. THEY must be thinking y bother to come in since nt feeling well… …

Anyway, took a cab out…reach clinic at 9am++, waited till 11.30am then can get out of that place…staffs there are really so unorganized, by right, 1 staff doing registration, 2 staffs do dispensing & 1 do others mah,,,bt if gt ppl come in for registration, all staffs doing the same things, then doc got crop up, frm quene no: 25 jump to 33 & 34 & 35. I gt so angry as I am no. 28 & moreover, I am in extreme bad mood… …haha…after awhile, I go sound out my unhappiness then is my turn, tat doc, didn’t really examine me, I guess he must thinking I am one of those who is taking MC for the sake of taking rest…I had no strength to tell him more, after he say ok u can go take medication, I didn’t bother to thank him…hehe! I thought this time I gt to wait another 30-45mins b4 I could collect my medication, who knows 10mins I gt it & to my surprise doc only give me painkiller…as I suspect I gt COLD (GAN MAO). Again, dun bother to ask more, juz make sure my MC is given & quickly go home sleep/rest. When get back hm, I cook myself some Maggie mee then take my own family doc medication & sleep, then quickly sms hub to inform him I am home, really sleepy, after awhile I wake up and watch tv. So funny… then hub back frm wrk.

After dinner, watched channel U(Wu lin da hui), I find Taiwan variety still the best, then at 9pm I cant take it, seem headache coming again, I fall asleep…at 11pm, hub come in & ask me take medication & fall back sleep again…haha! I plan to watch 10.30pm channel 8…bt…too tired.

Hub say muz be our BB, make me sick…haha! I guess partly as I didn’t hv enuff rest for last 2 weeks, after back frm genting(12am) still go back wrk the next day then Tuesday nite did get to sleep well as BB was back & she didn’t sleep well as well…then Friday nite the same, BB dun cooperate. WKN die die muz bring BB back MIL side…another tiring day… (Dun understand we are all WOMEN, y she didnt think for me? all she think of is, her precious son, wen start wrk? If HE is tired, den can dun go!), Sunday finally can’t take it, sleep for a long time yet nt enuff leave BB with hub. He keep bring bb in to see if I wake up…haha!

China covered up milk scare to protect Olympics: critics

BEIJING (AFP) - - China knew about the contamination of milk products months ago but covered the scandal up to prevent it tarnishing the Beijing Olympics, according to journalists, rights groups and media critics.
The crisis broke in mid-September, a month after the Olympics, but several Chinese reporters had long known about babies being hospitalised after drinking tainted milk, yet were muzzled by the authorities, the critics say.

An editor at a respected southern China newspaper said that as early as July one of his reporters was investigating how milk powder might have been to blame for children developing kidney stones and falling seriously sick.

"As a news editor, I was deeply concerned because I sensed that this was going to be a huge public health disaster," Southern Weekend news editor Fu Jianfeng said on his blog.
"But I could not send any reporters out to investigate. Therefore, I harboured a deep sense of guilt and defeat at the time."

Fu's blog posting was later removed, although it could be read on some overseas Chinese websites. Fu himself could not be reached for comment.
An estimated 53,000 Chinese children have been sickened after the industrial chemical melamine was added to milk products, and four infants have died.
The first of the baby deaths was on May 1, more than four months before the scandal went public.

Starting with Sanlu milk powder, the scare has gone on to envelop numerous Chinese firms and international companies operating in China, including global giants Cadbury and Unilever.

Chinese premier Wen Jiabao vowed over the weekend to work to restore his country's reputation, saying it was facing the problem "candidly".
However, there are claims that Chinese authorities reverted to the familiar practice of squashing the negative news reports, apparently conscious of the damage it would do to the August 8-24 Olympics.
"Several Chinese journalists have said it is becoming more and more obvious that the authorities in July prevented an investigation into the toxic milk coming out so as not to tarnish China's image before the Olympics," said a statement by media rights group Reporters Without Borders.
Sanlu Group began receiving complaints of sick children as early as last December, a recent cabinet probe found in an apparent attempt to shift the blame for the delay.
It also said Communist officials in the northern city of Shijiazhuang, where Sanlu is based, delayed referring the matter to higher authorities for more than a month after Sanlu finally told them of the problem on August 2, six days before the Beijing Games began.
"It is a concern that the first cases appeared early, but were concealed during the Olympics. A perfect environment was needed for the Games," said a Western product-safety expert who asked not to be named.
Despite the World Health Organisation and United Nations raising concerns about the delay in exposing the risks, rights groups say the Chinese government is continuing to silence reporters, suppressing media coverage vital to determining blame and preventing a recurrence.
"The government's gag order on the media has the effect of shielding those responsible for the tainted milk from accountability," Chinese Human Rights Defenders, a network of domestic and foreign rights activists, said in an emailed report.
It cited several instances of reporting by Chinese media censored or banned by authorities. The instances could not be confirmed by AFP.
The Brussels-based International Federation of Journalists last week also criticised China for "escalated restrictions" on reporting on the scandal.
It said propaganda authorities had expelled journalists from at least four Chinese newspapers in the same city as Sanlu's headquarters.
It also said authorities had deleted articles on the case from news websites and insisted on pre-approving related articles.
"China's Central Propaganda Department's attempts to control the media's reporting of a very serious public health crisis can only serve to heighten fears," the IFJ said.
"A free flow of information through a free media is vital where lives are at stake, and government restrictions on journalists may be endangering public health."
China has blamed the scandal largely on milk brokers adding melamine to boost milk protein readings.
